Windows 98

Windows 98 is a major improvement over Windows 95.  It greatly reduces the lockup problems and supports the FAT32 file system.  Windows 98 also improved communications and application support.  Click here to see the major features of Windows 98.

It is recommended that anyone still running Windows 95 upgrade to Windows 98.

Many of the on-line trading systems will run on Windows 98.  Because of the lockup problems with Windows 95 we do not recommend running and on-line trading system with Windows 95.

Windows 98 Y2K compliance requires that you visit the Microsoft products update Web Site ( Click here).  The site will automatically query your PC and list those products that Microsoft believes you need to bring your system up to date.
